Christmas Cookies
Baking has been a big part of our Christmas this year and it has been soooooo much fun! I think we baked a total of 60 dozen cookies and 10 batches of fudge. Yes 60 dozen cookies means lots of flour, rolling, cookie cutting, decorating and eating! Hannah was the flour girl....anytime flour was needed (and even when it wasn't :) she would sprinkle the flour on the table and rub down the rolling pin. Olivia was the rolling girl and the pan girl. She would roll the dough for the 1st few rolls and then after we all took turns with the cookie cutters she held the pans while I lined them up. We had several cookie decorating parties which was really fun for everyone.
I truly enjoy this time we get to share every year around the holidays. I hope we continue these traditions for a long time to come.

"Let's go for Adventure!"
So we are off to meet some of our very bestest friends half way between our house and there's. Its only about an hour n 1/2 or so but to the girls anything that requires a monitored bathroom stop before we leave, a bag of snacks for the ride, and the movie players in the car.....well as Hannah quickly announced just as we all buckled in...."let's go on adventure!"

Do you see what I see?
Christmas decorating today with the windows opens has been absolutely wonderful! It is great having all the totes lined up outside where we can see what we have to put out. its starting to look like Christmas but sure doesn't feel like it!

Sick Girl
It is this beautiful dance really. I get you in a steamy bath and you sleep up against the side until the water turns off. You immediately start crying to get out. I put you into my bed and get you on a breathing treatment and you watch cartoons until its done. We snuggle in and close our eyes but still somehow you can't seem to stop coughing. I give you a cough drop and downstairs we go. Its much cooler downstairs so I get you all tucked in the little couch and I take the big one. We watch TV until you basically pass out.
Its very painful for a mommy to watch her girls be so sick. You really don't even think about how tired you are until 3 weeks have gone by without a good nights sleep. All you can really think of is what you can do to make it all better. I am praying for a good nights sleep tonight!

Sleep-Over!
Its a nice night for an sleepover! You girls love to invite people to sleep over....the funny thing is that Olivia hates to have anyone sleep in her bed. Strange but that's how she has always been. She doesn't want to sleep at anyones house and she likes people to sleep over but only if they sleep with Hannah or on the air mattress. She likes her own bed and by herself! Good thing she is ok with going on vacation.
So tonight we have August sleeping over. You guys invited her little brother too. I think he would have stayed very innocently but we don't need to be starting anything on that note! We went to dinner with her family and she is going to come to church and lunch with us tomorrow. She is kind and nuturing making her a great role-model for both of you.
Everyone has had a shower and we are enjoying a little relaxation! Good night GIRLS....sleep tight!
