Happy 9th Birthday Olivia

Can't even believe how fast time flies.   At the same time you are so mature for your age it is sometimes hard to believe you are only 9.  You are extremely intuitive and have a crazy memory both of which I rely on a lot of times :)  You are someone that I trust and know I can count on no matter what.   I love that most about you and I think you will always be that way.   You are sensitive, You are family oriented, You are beautiful and have the most amazing marble blue eyes and perfectly highlighted hair, you always wear a smile and have a very contagious laugh!  You love babies and enjoy helping me in the kitchen, You love meat and rarely complain.   You are awesome in school always making straight A's, You won the citizenship award for your class, 2 AG awards and the female Art award for 3rd grade that landed a piece of your work ag the state fair this year.  SO proud of you!  I love that these are traits that are yours to share with your sister and I see everyday how well you balance each other.  Continue to have a kind and patient heart little lady!

Field Trip!

Roadtrip!

What an exciting road trip! It was filled with snow, a bad hotel and a hot tub :)  We went to Ohio for a long weekend.   It started snowing about an hour into our trip which landed us in a bad hotel for a long night.   Up again Saturday morning for a beautiful ride the rest of the way to grandmas house.   Our final destination was a really nice hotel with a pool and Hannah's favorite part......the hot tub!   It felt like a weekend that went way too fast with our family that lives way too far away!   Can't wait to see them again.   When I see the girls playing with cousins and all of us truly enjoying each others company I wish so much that we made more time to be a bigger part of each others lives.  Its a reminder to make time for what is important......family!

We went out bowling Saturday night for a little family fun.  Kathy, Kimberly, Mimi and us all had a blast!

Father daughter dance 2013

This year daddy decided to take both girls to the dance.   I think he got a little nervous because 2 days before I found him begging the lady at the church to find a place for me to volunteer!   So I ended up putting together trays of food and carting them a 1/4 mile back and forth to keep tables stocked and cleared.  You guys danced the night away and I did get to check in on you.  Hannah pooped out about 9 and was ready to go but we made a commitment so she change and helped me in the kitchen to get away from the noise.  I had a change of pjs for you in the car which was great because I think you were asleep before we made it out of the parking garage.

Cowgirls

Last night we went to the rodeo.  Girls had a blast and it was a lot more fun than we even expected.  They insisted on dressing the part and its all we heard about all day.  Hannah did well until the last 10 rides and she was begging to go home and falling asleep in my lap.
