Happy Birthday to You....and You!

This made our 3rd annual birthday pool party.  You both had a blast with all your friends.  We had a water slide, slip and slide, 2 kiddie pools, water squirters and water balloons.  Oh yeah and who could forget the inevitable rain shower.  We got a good hour of playing in, hotdogs cooked on the grill before the monsoon hit! We all took cover in the house and the garage for cake and presents.  Even with the rain it was well after 9pm before the last people left.

Olivia, you are growing into a beautiful young lady.  You are full of intuition and kindness.  You have a caring touch and a sensitive heart and such long hair and legs!  You say you want to be a doctor when you grow up, you want to get married but don’t want any babies.  You talk about going ot college and living at home FOREVER.  Your favorite thing to do is dance and sing with your friends and put on performances for all of us.  You are super smart but not always patient.  You can read and spell far better than most kids your age but you don’t have any patience for good penmanship or detailed coloring.  You are a straight A student!  You are a hugger and a kisser, quick to make rules for everything, quick to apologize and a stickler for routine.  I think you will make a fine law abiding citizen, a best friend, a proud wife and a caring daughter that will always stay close to home. You have a world of opportunites ahead of you sweet girl!

Hannah, you are a beautiful ray of sunshine.  I often tell people that you were born an instant 3yr old. (of course because your sister was 3 when you were born)  The same holds true today.  You want to do and be “zactly the same as ya ya” as you always say.  You are full of energy and can hold your own with all the big kids.  You have rhythm and are so cute making up dances with the girls.  You are still a little girl and we have to sometime remember that you need to eat often and take naps so not to get too grumpy.  You have curly hair and little freckles across your nose.  You mix up words like headford= forehead.  Reminds us to hold on you the baby girl left in you.  You don’t like to be held, or hugged too often.  You will apologize but it would be a safer bet that it will be followed with a handshake rather than a hug. The other day I saw you cheering with all the big girls on the street only you were laying in the grass.  It took me a few minutes to figure out that you were doing it because you didn’t want them to pick you up or be on their pyramids.  You are a free spirit!  I think you will explore the world one day, I don’t worry at all about you taking care of yourself, you will stand up for what you believe in and always put up a good fight.  I think you will be slow to settle down but will be an awesome mom one day.  Give the world a run for their money baby girl…..just stay out of trouble!
